This is for those interested in a degree in social work, criminology, psychology or similar. As part of the course you will study a range of modules under three distinctive pathways:
This is a full-time course and you will be required to attend college approximately three days per week, and undertake online modules and an independent study day. You are also strongly advised to undertake voluntary work, work experience or employment (where possible), relating to your career plan. This will support your application to university, and provide you with relevant employability skills.
Entry requirements (you must have obtained these prior to enrolling on the course).

The course is internally assessed and externally quality assured. You will be assessed on each module throughout the academic year, using a variety of methods which will include written assignments, reports, research, one exam and presentations.Access to Social Work and Social Sciences is designed to give you the qualification needed to advance onto a range of undergraduate degree courses, including social work, criminology, psychology, sociology, psychotherapy and counselling.
