Oldham College has been expanding and regenerating its campus at an extraordinary pace. Around £45 million has been invested in upgrading or completely replacing our facilities since 2012. This is linked to modernising our curriculum and has delivered a state-of-the-art campus we’re proud to offer our learners. We have inspirational first-class environments where every learner can fulfil their true potential – and where we can equip them with the skills they need.
In 2021, our latest new building – a £9m Construction Centre – was completed alongside the addition of a new £9m Health and Life Sciences Centre. Other recent changes include new simulation suites which mirror a real-life clinical hospital ward, nursery and gym, and are superb locations to make progress in a future trade. For leisure and downtime, we’ve also added the Viewpoint Café, boasting stunning views of the Manchester skyline and beyond.

These are our dedicated facilities offering resources both online and in print to enhance your educational experience. Friendly staff are always on hand to help with your studies or answer any questions you may have. We have a library of 15,000 books plus remote services including a collection of 3,000 electronic books and subject specific electronic resources. We aim to provide resources, support and a learning environment which empower you to maximise your achievements.
Gym
We have a newly renovated gym available. The gym is open Tuesday-Friday and is free for all students and there are dedicated female-only sessions.

We have our very own dedicated Job Shop on site. This is your ‘one stop’ place for careers advice, apprenticeships and job-hunting for all students.
Student Hub
At Oldham College we treat all students like the young adults they actually are. That means we are very different from a school environment and instead provide all the social activities you’d expect at a modern, vibrant college campus. The Student Hub houses our Enrichment Team and Student Union, who will help you access all of our personal development and sports opportunities.
