Course: Certificate in Community Interpreting Level 2

Start Dates: The course runs once a year - from September to June.

Delivery Method: You will attend the college two days a week and complete independent study outside of these hours.

What will I study?

You will study various units related to aspects of community interpreting and will develop your skills and understanding around professional conduct and working in the sector.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed in various ways including spoken, written and online assessments.

Entry requirements

Learners will need to have at least full level 1 English for Speakers of Other Languages qualification or equivalent for this course.  Learners must have a relevant level of ability in their chosen interpreting language.  A full assessment of skills, knowledge and attributes takes place for all applicants before starting the course.
