Overview

Course: Certificate in Counselling Skills (September Start) Level 2

Start Dates: September - December

Delivery Method: Two evenings per week, Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-9:00pm, for 14 weeks.

Course Aims

This qualification aims to introduce the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work, and some of the approaches that underpin these skills. This qualification will provide an opportunity to investigate the knowledge and skills needed to use counselling skills and engage appropriately in a helping interaction.

What will I study?

To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, you will be required to successfully complete 4 mandatory units:

Using counselling skills; Introduction to counselling skills theories; Diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills; Counselling skills and personal development
