
Level 2 Diplomas are vocational qualifications which focus on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the hair industry. They are a stepping-stone to a higher-level qualification such as VRQ Advanced Diploma Level 3. HABIA, the standard setting body for Hair and Beauty, has approved them and the awarding body City & Guilds provide the qualification.

These are graded Pass/ Merit/ Distinction; the assessments are ongoing and planned using an assessment calendar.
Theory assessments
These are graded Pass/Refer, exams are multiple choice and are taken online. You must achieve a minimum of 60% to be successful, top up questions will confirm knowledge retrieval.
Minimum requirement of Adult Literacy Level 1.
