You’ll gain experience in the most commonly used methods and materials, supported by expert guidance and industry-standard training. The course covers a wide range of essential topics, including:
Setting out techniques for specific tasks Jointing and measuring skills Estimating materials accurately Safe and effective use of hand tools Health and safety practices aligned with industry standards Working with timbers and board materials Exploring different types of carpentry and joinery Safe operation of power tools and equipment Application of skirting, architraves, and other finishing techniquesDelivered in our well-equipped workshops by experienced tutors, this course provides a strong foundation for further study or entry-level employment in the construction and joinery sectors.
Whilst on this course, you will study;
