If you don't have the right qualifications for university, and are looking to start a career in one of the many roles within the health sector, this qualification is for you. On this course, you will develop the foundational knowledge and skills you need to progress.
This qualification combines topics in health, sociological perspectives in healthcare, and biology to give you scope when choosing a degree to suit your career choice.
The curriculum will give you a core understanding of essential topics which will help you to build a good foundation of knowledge for your degree.
You will be assessed for each unit through a variety of methods that will help you to develop the important skills and abilities that you will use on your degree course. This includes academic essay writing, research skills, analysis of data and presentation skills.
To enrol on this course you must have already achieved four GCSEs, including English and Maths at a minimum of grade 4/C. Unfortunately, we do not accept Functional Skills as an equivalent.
