University Level Support
Fees and Finance
Depending on your circumstances, your tuition fees may be covered by a Tuition Fee Loan, paid by your employer or funded by you directly. You may also be able to access additional financial support through Student Finance England and University Campus Oldham while you study.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees vary depending on the programme you choose to study.
Your fees contribute towards teaching, learning materials, specialist equipment, classrooms, workshops and other learning spaces. They also help fund student services, including academic support, wellbeing services, careers guidance and library resources.
As a higher education student, you’ll be responsible for paying your tuition fees through student finance, employer sponsorship or by paying the fees yourself.
Full details of tuition fees can be found in the University Campus Oldham/ Oldham College Fees Policy on this page.
How you pay your tuition fees will depend on your circumstances.
Paying with a Tuition Fee Loan
Paying with a Tuition Fee Loan
If you’re eligible, you can apply for a Tuition Fee Loan through Student Finance England to cover the full cost of your tuition fees, so you won’t need to pay them before your course starts.
You’ll only begin repaying your loan once you’ve completed your course and your income is above the government repayment threshold.
Apply through Student Finance England.
Employer Sponsorship
Employer Sponsorship
If your employer has agreed to fund your course, they’ll be invoiced for the full cost of your tuition fees after you enrol.
Before you enrol, you’ll need to provide either:
- A signed letter on company-headed paper, or
- An official purchase order confirming your employer’s agreement to fund your studies.
You’ll need to provide this documentation at enrolment.
Paying your own fees

If you’re paying your own tuition fees, you’ll need to arrange payment when you enrol.
A member of our Finance Team can explain the payment options available and help you set up a payment plan if needed.
Any outstanding tuition fees must be paid before the final day of your course.
