University Level

Below you will find all the information you need to apply for one of our university level courses and higher education qualifications.

How to Apply

Step 1 - Explore your Course Options

As you begin your application journey, check the course information on our website to compare your options and identify the courses that best match your interests, qualifications and career aspirations.

Consider how the course is taught, how you’ll be assessed and the entry requirements.

Step 2 - Submit an Application

You can apply online directly by clicking the ‘Apply Now’ button on a course page.

You can also choose to make a full-time undergraduate application via UCAS.

Our friendly and supportive Admissions team will be in touch to discuss your application and arrange a one-to-one appointment if requested.

Step 3 - Receive your Offer

Once we’ve reviewed your application, our Admissions team will contact you to let you know the outcome.

If you’re successful, you’ll receive details of your offer, including any conditions you may need to meet and the next steps in the application process.

If you don’t quite meet the entry requirements for your chosen course, don’t worry. Where possible, we’ll consider you for a suitable alternative course. Our aim is to help you find the best pathway to achieve your academic and career goals.

Step 4 - Accept your Offer

If you choose to accept your offer, we’ll guide you through the next steps and explain everything you need to do to secure your place. Depending on your offer, you may need to meet any outstanding conditions, such as achieving the required qualifications or providing additional documentation.

If you’re unsure about any aspect of your offer or the acceptance process, our Admissions team is here to help. We’ll be happy to answer your questions and support you every step of the way as you prepare to join the University Campus Oldham community.

Step 5 - Apply for Finance

Once you’ve accepted your offer, it’s important to apply for student finance as early as possible to ensure your funding is in place before your course begins.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help cover the cost of your tuition fees and living expenses. Applying early can help avoid delays and give you peace of mind.

Step 6 - Visit an Open Event

We hold two all ages Open Events in November and March, alongside Oldham College. These are held at our Rochdale Road Campus.

You can visit us ahead of your course start date to meet your future Tutors, discuss fees and funding, explore our facilities, and ask questions about your course.

Step 7 - Prepare to Start your Course

As you get ready to join us, we’ll keep you updated with everything you need to know before your course begins.

In the weeks leading up to the start of term, you’ll receive important information to help you prepare, including your Welcome Week timetable, class timetable, reading list and details of any equipment, software or materials you may need for your course.

You will also receive information on enrolment.

Step 8 - Enrolment

We’ll contact you with everything you need to know, including when your enrolment will take place and any documents you’ll need to bring.

As part of enrolment, you’ll confirm your personal details, provide any required documentation and ensure your tuition fee or student finance arrangements are in place.

Once you’ve successfully enrolled, you will gain access to UCO systems, our student services and our resources.
