Oldham College shortlisted at the Educate North Awards

The Educate North Awards (ENAs) celebrates world-class achievements, excellence and improvements across the further education, higher education, university and sixth form sectors in the north of England. 

The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 7^th May at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, bringing together hundreds of education professionals.

Oldham College was named as a finalist in two categories: the Community Engagement Award – HE/FE Sector and Digital and AI Innovation Award – HE/FE Sector.

The College was shortlisted for the Community Engagement Award for its involvement in social action projects. Learners across all subject areas have taken part in impactful projects at the College and in the community, including the transformation of disused space in Royton Linear Park, creating artwork for The Royal Oldham Hospital and charity fundraising.

Shortlisting for the Digital and AI Innovation Award – HE/FE Sector focused on the Imaginarium, the College’s immersive learning space.

The Imaginarium transports learners into a range of engaging environments. From construction sites and virtual hospital wards to anatomy tours and creative storytelling, students can explore their courses in different ways.
