We’re supporting a new initiative designed to make it easier for businesses to connect with education and help shape the future workforce.
We’re working alongside Oldham Council on the launch of BREE (Brokering Relationships between Employers and Educators), a new online platform that brings schools, colleges and employers together in a more coordinated way.
BREE aims to simplify how businesses get involved in education by bringing opportunities such as careers talks, workplace visits and mentoring into one place.
For us, the platform will help strengthen links with local businesses and make it easier to match them with meaningful opportunities for our students.
This builds on our wider work with employers, including our Employer Advisory Boards, where businesses share industry insight and help shape our curriculum.
By improving coordination, we hope more businesses will get involved, giving students real insight into the workplace and helping them develop the skills employers are looking for.
