Course Details

What will I Study?

You will study a range of topics to develop your knowledge and skills in number, shape, space and data handling.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will complete a paper based assessment or an online assessment, depending on the level of your course. This assessment will take place at a set interval within the academic year. There is opportunity for you to study more than one level and can take the assessment outside of the interval windows. But this will be in agreement with your course tutor. 

Entry Requirements

No prior qualifications are necessary. You will complete an assessment prior to starting the course. The screening assessment is designed to give us an indication of your current literacy and numeracy levels, so that we can identify the best qualification route and class for you. The screening assessment/enrolment process can take up to 1.5 hours.

Cost

The cost of adult courses and the availability of course funding is dependent upon your previous qualifications and personal circumstances. Please contact admissions@oldham.ac.uk for individual guidance.

Delivery Method

Various days and times available including mornings, afternoons and evenings. Attendance to your class is mandatory and it is expected that you will arrive on time. You will have regular assessments to check your progress. The assessments will be reviewed and you will receive feedback and guidance to support your progression on the course.
