What will I Study?
Over the duration of this course you will develop and use skills of leadership, mentoring, coaching and reflection as you complete the qualification through work-based learning opportunities. You will challenge and reflect on your daily practice and theoretical understanding.
Upon achievement of this qualification you will be equipped as an Advanced Practitioner. The Advanced Practitioner will use crucial leadership skills to mentor others across all roles and responsibilities in the school or college workforce.
How Will I Be Assessed?
Entry Requirements
To start this course you must be at least 18 years of age and be employed in a suitable role within a school or college. You will have prior knowledge and experience of working at level 3 in the early years sector and have a minimum of Level 2/grade 4 in English and maths. You must be employed minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the course. You will need the support of your employer to undertake this course.
Previous Level 3 study is a clear advantage but wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding working in schools or colleges is a requirement for this CPD qualification. We will be able to offer you discreet advice in relation to your suitability for entry. Employer permission is required.
