What Will I Study?
Level 3 - Extended Diploma in Applied and Business - Full Time, duration 2 years
You will study the legal system: criminal, contract and family law, and how businesses operate, looking specifically at areas such as marketing and Human Resources. You will undertake work experience and through our college academies you will have a business mentor, the chance to apply for a summer internship (with employers including ITV and the NHS) and opportunities to be involved in a number of employer-led workshops.
Work experience employers include: Clarke Wilmott, Horwich Farrelly, Tucker Solicitors, Addleshaw Goddard, Monarch Solicitors, Plexus Law, Wrigley Claydon, First Choice Homes and Oldham Council Registrars Department.
How Will I Be Assessed?
For Level 2 you will be assessed by coursework and external exams.
For Level 3 you will be assessed by coursework and external exams.
What could this course lead to?
Level 2 progression opportunities are onto Level 3 in Law or Business including T Levels, a Paralegal apprenticeship or Business Admin apprenticeship and employment.
Level 3 progression opportunities are to university (studying Law or Business Management with pathways in HR, Marketing and Accounting), a Paralegal apprenticeship and employment.
Job opportunities are varied in the legal sector and in administration.
