Course Details
What will I Study?
Areas covered are: using devices and handling information, creating and editing, communication, transacting and being safe and responsible online. You will learn all about computers, laptops, smartphones, online banking, social media, and digital communications.
The qualifications run at entry level and Level 1 to provide progression through the subject.
How Will I Be Assessed?
Assessment for this course is via a modular approach so spaced out, and will be taken in line with both an assessment schedule, and also when you have covered all of the content for each module. All assessments are online given the nature of the course.
Entry Requirements
No prior qualifications are necessary. You will complete an assessment prior to starting the course. The screening assessment is designed to give us an indication of your current digital ability, so that we can identify the best qualification route and class for you.
Cost
The cost of adult courses and the availability of course funding is dependent upon your previous qualifications and personal circumstances. Please contact admissions@oldham.ac.uk for individual guidance.
