Course Details
What Will I Study?
Level 2 Accounting AAT - Duration: One year
At Level 2 you will be introduced to Bookkeeping, Costing and Accounting Software. You will also have the opportunity to practise the skills you have learned through work experience.
Level 3 Accounting AAT - Duration: One year
At Level 3 you will study Advanced Bookkeeping, Management Accounting and Tax. You will also have the opportunity to practise the skills you have learned through work experience and take part in employer-led workshops and visits to large accounting organisations, such as KPMG.
Level 3 T Level in Accounting - Duration: Two years!
This vocational qualification is designed to provide practical skills and knowledge for a career in accounting, covering areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, and business taxation. It combines classroom learning with industry-based experience, preparing you for roles in accounting, finance and business administration.
Our work experience employers include PVG Financial Services, Hilton Jones, Community Accounts Department, Co-op Insurance and Hunter Financial.
Part-time courses (evening):
- Level 2 Accounting AAT – Duration: One year
- Level 3 Accounting AAT – Duration: One year
How Will I Be Assessed?
What could this course lead to?
Level 2 - Level 3 AAT or Level 3 in Business, an apprenticeship in Accounting or Business Administration, or employment.
Level 3 - Progression to university to study Accounting, or continue to study the Level 3 Diploma in Business with a view to studying Business Management with pathways in HR, Marketing and Accounting. There is also the opportunity for an advanced apprenticeship or employment.
Job opportunities are found in the diverse financial services sector.
