Health and Care Professions

Health and care systems are evolving – now working more closely with services like social care, the NHS and charities.

Our courses reflect these changes, so you won’t just learn the theory, you’ll explore how it applies to real-world settings.

You’ll learn to support others, influence future services, and develop the knowledge and confidence to make a real difference.

Our facilities

Our Health and Care Professions courses for Oldham College are based in our Health and Life Sciences Centre, which provides industry-standard facilities designed to prepare students for careers in health and care professions. Featuring a specialist hospital ward simulation suite that recreates a real working environment.

Our University Level courses are based at our University Way Campus, with environments that include equipment that you’d expect to find in the workplace.

Outside the classroom, students can relax and socialise in our four dining outlets, including Hive Café and Viewpoint Café, where panoramic views of the Manchester skyline create an inspiring place to study or unwind.
