Media Level 3
Course Details
What Will I Study?
Lights, camera, action! You’ll present your own TV and radio shows, write and direct short films, and create documentaries and music videos.
You’ll work in our specialist TV and radio studios, editing suites and animation suite, operating cameras and editing using industry-standard software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and Photoshop.
You’ll also build a digital portfolio that showcases your work and the practical skills you develop throughout the course.
How Will I Be Assessed?
Each project will produce a portfolio of evidence that tutors formally assess at points throughout the course.
Feedback is recorded on the College’s digital assessment platform, and one-to-one tutorials will track your progress and set targets.
Your final grade comes from your Final Major Project, where you’ll design and create a media product of your own choosing. This is externally moderated and exhibited for peers and tutors.
