Creative Arts, Design and Media

Photography and Media Level 2

Course Details

What Will I Study?

Get behind the camera and into media. You’ll learn camera skills, shoot in the studio and on location, edit your images digitally and create your own media productions.

It’s a hands-on way to build a portfolio of digital still and moving content and explore whether your future is in photography, media or both.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Each project will produce a portfolio of evidence that tutors formally assess at points throughout the course.

Feedback is recorded on the College’s digital assessment platform, and one-to-one tutorials will track your progress and set targets.

Your final grade comes from your Final Major Project, where you’ll design and create a photography or media product of your own choosing. This is externally moderated and exhibited for peers and tutors.
