Ready for a fresh start in education? Rise will help you rebuild your confidence, discover your strengths and take positive steps towards your future.

You will study GCSE English and maths alongside an employability qualification, developing skills that will help you succeed at college and in the workplace. You will build your communication and teamwork skills, develop the resilience to work through challenges, and learn to approach tasks with independence and professionalism.

You will also complete work experience as part of the course, putting your skills into practice, building confidence in the workplace and preparing for future employment.

Your GCSE English and maths will be assessed through exams.

For employability, you will build a portfolio of evidence showing your skills and progress. This could include practical team challenges, role-play activities such as mock interviews, creative projects, and reflections on your work experience. You will have opportunities to demonstrate what you can do in different ways, with regular feedback to help you improve and build confidence.

Rise will help you take your next step towards a career that interests you. Depending on your progress and achievements, you could move on to a Level 1 or Level 2 vocational course in your chosen subject area or begin your journey into employment.

You will receive support to explore your options and plan your next steps, building on your strengths, interests and future ambitions.
