Level 2 Diploma in Hair & Media Make-up

- Working in beauty-related industries
- Health and safety
- Client care and communication
- Apply make-up
- Body art design
- Eye treatments
- Photographic make-up
- Spray tanning
- Styling and dressing hair
- Colouring hair
- Make hair additions.
Work experience is an essential part of all full-time study programmes. Learners will complete a minimum of 35 hours within an industry-linked environment per academic year/qualification.

VRQ Qualifications are assessed continuously based on module completion.

What Could This Course Lead To?
The Level 2 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-up is aimed at learners who are looking to start a career as a make-up artist. Learners can progress into employment, or further their studies by taking either of the Level 3 make-up qualifications. Also available are other qualifications at Level 2, such as beauty therapy or hairdressing, to broaden their skills base and support employability.
