Construction Skills DIY Level 1 (January Start)

What will I Study?

Throughout the course, you'll develop a solid understanding of key construction techniques, including:

• Accurate setting out procedures
• Safe use of tools and equipment
• Working safely on site
• Handling and working with various materials
• Core DIY construction skills
• Basic finishing techniques used across the industry.

How Will I Be Assessed?

This is practically assessed course. You will however need to complete workbooks to support your practical assessments. Assessments will consist of health and safety, and creating a portfolio of evidence.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal requirements, just an enthusiasm to learn basic DIY methods and setting out skills.

Cost
