Certificate in Community Interpreting L3

Advanced interpreting skills: consecutive interpreting, sight translation, note-taking real-life public service scenarios (eg. mental health, immigration), ethics, impartiality, and safeguarding, freelance and agency interpreting knowledge, learners who complete successfully can undertake a 2-week pre-employment programme with Northern Care Alliance.

Learners will need to have at least a full Level 2 English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) qualification or equivalent for this course.

For all level courses you must have a relevant level of ability in your chosen interpreting language. A full assessment of skills, knowledge and attributes takes place for all applicants before starting the course.
