Support the Adult Nursing Team T Level

Course Details

What Will I Study?

Do you want to be part of the next generation of health professionals through an exciting qualification?

T Levels provide a technical alternative to A Levels. Designed in collaboration with employers to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to work within the health sector, this T Level offers a combination of classroom learning and industry work placement to give you the experience needed to start your career. You will undertake your placement with our NHS partner, Northern Care Alliance, meaning that all your placements will be within a hospital setting.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside professionals, become part of the team and develop your skills to put theory into practice.

To enrol on this course you must have a minimum of five GCSEs which must include English, Maths and Science at a minimum of grade 5 and two other subjects at a minimum of grade 4.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Core modules: there will be two externally set exams at the end of the first year and an employer set project; this will be a controlled assessment completed within College, and is completely linked to your industry placement experience.

Specialist modules: there will be three externally set assessments carried out in year 2.

What could this course lead to?

After successfully completing this course you will be able to progress onto an undergraduate degree course in adult nursing. Alternatively, you may choose to progress to a higher level apprenticeship or find employment within the NHS or social care settings.
