With over 20 years’ experience, Mashukul is a technology entrepreneur, investor and founder of numerous successful IT companies, most recently Datacentreplus. Based in Manchester, Datacentreplus provides a range of cloud hosting, cybersecurity and data centre solutions to businesses and other organisations.
Mashukul is a former resident of Oldham, having lived there for over 20 years, and also went to school there. After studying at the University of Liverpool, his early career consisted of working in the IT division of large companies (first as an analyst programmer and then as a systems designer). This experience enabled him to set up his first technology business. As well as running several businesses, Mashukul is involved in a number of charitable, community and mentoring projects, including initiatives in and around the Greater Manchester area to promote STEM subjects to disadvantaged sections of the community.
