About the employer: We are an organisation of creatives, artisans, builders, thinkers and riggers, and together we possess an array of skill sets which allow us to tailor every aspect of your event. We were formed in 2013 as a sister company to illumiNaughty, an event we have run since 2006. This has given us the knowledge and know-how of how events work and what they need, in order to run efficiently and avoid the headaches that come with production.After expanding quickly across the U.K. demand soon grew for our services across Europe and further a field.
We currently work in Dubai, Ibiza, California, Croatia and Saudi Arabia, with plans to reach new destinations over the upcoming seasons.

Overview of the role (what will the learner be doing and what will the learner gain): This is a great opportunity to develop a multitude of Administrative skills in a dynamic and forward thinking organisation. You will receive excellent training and mentoring, whilst working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. Full training will be provided on the job and by Oldham College.

Level 3 Business Administration Standard
Functional Skills English Level 2
Functional Skills Math痴 Level 2

Desired skills:

Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.,

Ability to operate a range of office machines such as photocopiers, computers and document shredding machines

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Be methodical, accurate and have a thorough approach to work, with excellent attention to detail

Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines

Enthusiasm and patience when working with people

Have the desire to learn new things and constantly improve your own working practice

Review and update contact records to ensure the information we hold remains accurate and up to date in compliance with GDPR legislation

Future prospects: Next level of Apprenticeship, or permanent employment

Creating and Issuing of invoices to clients

Updating client records

Send and receive correspondence from clients, including creating dd mandate for clients

Answer phone calls/Telephone duties

Process clients documents using both manual and electronic verification

Process VAT returns/Bookkeeping for clients

Create new file for clients and file client information

Other adhoc administrative duties

Organise work to make it ready for the day

Photocopy client documents

Desired qualifications 5* GCSE痴 9-4 (A to C)
