This qualification is for you if you are learner who wishes to work as an electrician in the building services industry. It has been designed to deliver a high level of occupational skills and provide a platform from which to progress through further into an apprenticeship programme or into employment. This route at Level 2 is a step towards becoming a competent electrician.
Mandatory units include: health and safety in building services engineering, principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology, installation of wiring systems and enclosures and understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering.
Assessment is made up of a range of on demand online examinations testing the knowledge from each unit, you will also complete an incentre task manual which contains a range of practical assessments to test the skills you have acquired during training
There are no formal entry requirements however learners must have a basic understanding of Maths, Science and English
