AAT Accounting Level 3

Attendance:

This course will be delivered face to face over two evenings per week, for typically a total of 6 hours per week.

In addition to this, you will be required to undertake significant independent study in order to ensure you are successful. The required independent study will be 1 hour per 1 hour of face to face delivery.

 

What will I study?

AAT Accounting Level 3

What knowledge and skills will I gain?

If you're new to accountancy and finance, looking to change your career into accountancy or have previously worked in an accounts department, this level is ideal for you.

On completion of the course there is an option to progress to further/higher education such as the Level 4 Professional Accounting apprenticeship. Completion of the course can lead to employed positions such as trainee accounting technician and as an assistant accountant. 


Entry requirements

Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A-C/4-9 (including Maths and English) and a Level 2 Accountancy qualification, in addition to Level 3 Bookkeeping or significant experience of working in industry.


Will I have to pay for the course?

You may be entitled to this course for free if this is your first Level 3 qualification. Adult Learning Loans can be accessed to support covering the fee.


How much will it cost?

Total cost = £1,308

Learners will be required to pay for this qualification. However, depending on your personal circumstances you may qualify for partial or full funding via the Adult Education Budget. Our enrolment team will advise you on how these qualifications can be funded. Alternatively, Adult Learning Loans can be accessed to support covering the fee.
