Attendance: 1 day per week. Day to be confirmed. This course is based on a blended learning model of some classroom and some distance learning.

What knowledge and skills will I gain?

This course is for adults who are working, or intending to work in a health or social care context, who wish to develop their understanding of approaches to supporting individuals with mental health needs.

Entry requirements

No specific entry requirements are required to enrol onto this course. However, some experience in the health and social care sector would be advantageous.

Will I have to pay for the course?

You may be eligible to do this course for free, if you do not already hold a level 2 or 3 qualification or if you receive certain state benefits.

How much will it cost?

If the above does not apply then the course cost is £724. Students are eligible to apply to the Student Loans Company for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover tuition fees. Learners can also apply for our bursary to help towards costs including travel, books and meals.
