Start Dates: You can start this course at any time during the year. Typically it will take 12 months to achieve.

Attendance:

Part-time programme with a minimum of 12-16 hours in work, with 1:1 and/or group learning and assessment. Class days TBC.

What knowledge and skills will I gain?

Adults seeking to start work in adult care work, or who work in adult care but do not yet have the Level 2 diploma.


Entry requirements

No specific entry requirements, but you must be employed for a minimum of 16 hours per week or have an employer willing to support you in this course and permit assessment by the team.


Will I have to pay for the course?

You may be eligible to do this course for free, if you do not already hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification or if you receive certain state benefits. This course can also be funded on a full cost basis.


How much will it cost?

This course can be fully funded depending on your eligibility. The cost is £2,225. Eligible learners can also apply for the Oldham College Bursary to help towards costs including travel, books, meals and childcare.
