GCSE Resits for 16-18 year olds

At Oldham College, we understand that gaining core GCSEs is crucial to maximising your progression to higher level FE courses, apprenticeships, higher education and employment.

Employers and universities require candidates to have passed their maths and English subjects as a minimum so it’s an important advantage to have these on your CV.

Or, perhaps you are just unhappy with your results and would like to retake them?

Oldham College is here to give you the opportunity to resit 4 important GCSE subjects. These include; Maths, English, Biology and Chemistry. Students can take a maximum of four subjects in one year. You can choose a minimum of two subjects up to a maximum of four to take over the 12 months.

The GCSE study programme is designed for 16-18 year olds. We offer separate courses for maths, English, Biology and Chemistry which you can apply for under maths & English and Science areas of the website.
