Entry Pathways

Our Pathways and Skills for Life and Work courses are designed to provide students with the skills required to progress onto Level 1 programmes,  Traineeships/Apprenticeships, Supported Internships or employment.

Our Pathways courses provide students with opportunities to focus on and gain qualifications in maths and English and employability skills. The Vocational Pathway programme provides students with opportunities to gain experience in vocational areas which will inform choices about future options.

Skills for Life and Work courses are designed to promote our Special Educational Needs (SEND) students’ independence through practical workshops which best prepare students for the world of work. We teach independent living, community inclusion and wellbeing among other subjects. Students may progress onto Level 1 Supported Internships- a meaningful work opportunity split into three rotations, or onto mainstream courses at Oldham College.
