In Greater Manchester, there are almost 8000 digital and creative businesses employing 82,300 people. The region hopes to secure a leading position in this ever-expanding sector, increasing the demand for highly qualified and skilled students.

The Faculty of Digital Technologies delivers up-to-date knowledge and skills to support young people in achieving a career in the digital industry.

IT  is a strong focus of this pathway. We also provide specialist studies in networking infrastructure, networking architecture, project management skills, cybersecurity, enterprise technologies and business applications.

We have outstanding facilities in our CISCO Academy, and our labs and workshops allow you to learn the latest and most relevant programming languages, networking systems or cybersecurity strategies.

Students have regular contact with industry specialists such as UK Fast, Microsoft and Sopra Steria. Their masterclasses in subjects such as AI and network security along with lectures on current trends and the career routes are very popular.

Our sector-experienced tutors work closely with every student to build a platform from which they can launch careers in cybersecurity, computer science, digital forensics, digital media, and software development among others.
