So how do you check in with how you feel? Easy peasy!
Part Two: Page Seven
Do something that will remind you to do it regularly. Set your mobile phone to remind you, stick a post-it note on your computer, whatever works to remind you to do it.
Stop what you are doing and breathe steadily for a couple of minutes.
Check how you feel physically
Check how you feel mentally.
Write down what you have noticed.
Look at the patterns.
This will give you a good starting point for your change. If you feel good, be happy and reward yourself! If you feel less good, you can change how you feel.
How you feel has a great deal of influence on how you perform. Remember that self-talk does too!! If you think of athletes, they train and eat well and do all the things necessary to perform well. But some days they turn in great performances and some days not so great. They are still in the same physical condition with the same amount of muscle and stamina but they just don’t perform the same. All top athletes realise that they need to create the state of mind for success.
