The Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices enables candidates to progress in their career in FE Colleges and Training Providers.
The course is a 20 week programme

Candidates will attend a one day workshop to gain the knowledge needed to complete their assessment.  The remaining qualification will be competed on a 1:1 basis.
No Formal Entry Requirements
This qualification is assessed via assignment or professional discussion.

Once completing the Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance Processes and Practices candidates can progress onto:

No Formal Entry Qualifications

However, learners must meet the necessary standards of English, Mathematics and Information and communication technology.  Learners must have a recognised assessors course and be competent in the area they wish to quality assure.

This qualification is intended for candidates who wish to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance and wish to progress onto becoming an Internal Quality Assurer.

All students at Oldham College will participate in a personalised study programme that will maximise your potential and enable you to progress onto employment, apprenticeships or higher education.

This means you will:

  • Study a core qualification in a vocational discipline and continue to develop your English and Maths skills through functional skills, GCSE resits and the option of Level 3 qualifications
  • Participate in meaningful work experience
  • Enjoy a range of enrichment opportunities e.g. basketball, archery, skiing and sign language
  • Take part in dedicated tutorial sessions to review your progress and development
