This course has been designed to help students achieve a good level of understanding and practical skills in the airport and airline industry.

The course will comprise the following qualifications:

  • Introduction to Cabin Crew
  • Aviation Operations on the Ground
  • Travel Services.
  • Continuous assessment
  • Internal tests
  • Portfolio building
  • Level 3 Airport Operations
  • Level 3 Diploma in Travel & Tourism
  • Employment
  • Apprenticeships

Examples of median annual salaries for Hospitality and Tourism occupations include:

  • Leisure and Sports Manager £25,000
  • Restaurant and Catering Manager £20,000
  • Receptionist £12,000  
  • Bar Staff £6,000.

Basic starting salaries for air cabin crew are around £12,000. Air cabin crew with experience can expect to earn £15,000 to £18,000 a year.

Level 2 – 4 x GCSE grade D or level 3 (including English and Maths)
  • Level 1 Travel Pathways. You will be required to have the appropriate level of essential skills
