This qualification covers a wide range of practical skills and theory knowledge for working as a junior stylist providing colouring services.

You will study the following mandatory content;

Principles of hairdressing and barbering services

Colour and Lighten Hair

Styling and Finishing Services

 Perm and Neutralise Hair

Level 2 – 4 x GCSE grade D or level 3 (including English and Maths)
Complete an application online

   The course is graded pass, merit and distinction

Successful achievement of the Technical Certificate for Hair Colouring Services will enable you to continue your training progressing onto an;

 Advanced Level 3 Technical Diploma in Hairdressing

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Hairdressing / Barbering

Salon 7 Apprenticeship

Working in the retail industry requires you to be well presented, able to communicate well with peers, clients and industry specialists.

You should be willing to work as part of a team and able to use your own initiative.

You should have an enthusiastic interest in current and emerging colouring, styling trends and techniques

You are required to complete client record cards; therefore, clear legible handwriting is necessary.
