Oldham College is working in partnership with Pure Innovations, Oldham Council and local employers to provide a unique opportunity for a limited number of students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to enhance their employability skills in a real working environment.

The Supported Internship programme is an employment based course open to students with an Education, Health and Care Plan between the ages of 18 and 24 year old.  It provides a combination of taught sessions and work experience placements and provides opportunities to learn work skills and build confidence in a real place of work alongside working colleagues. After the supported placements finish, it is hoped the Interns will secure paid employment either at their place of work or with local employers.

3 x 10 week work experience placements, tailored to meet individual needs.
