In this course you will build your skills for the Digital and Creative work place through being involved with a one extra BBC client brief. You will work in a team of IT, creative and marketing students developing your confidence, communication and technical skills.

The programme of study will include session on

  • Website design and development
  • Digital advertising
  • Photography
  • Design
  • Moving image for TV and social media
  • IT skills for the workplace.

During the project you will work towards an Adobe ACA certificate and or a Microsoft Specialist course.

The course will be based in our purpose built £9 million building created for digital and creative students and practitioner. The location includes Industry standard digital and creative studios and workshops.

  • Full working TV studio & gallery.
  • Photographic lighting studio
  • MAC suites
  • Professional suites of software for the Digital and Creative Industries.

You will achieve a professional qualification in either  Microsoft specialist certificate and or an Adobe ACA – Photoshop certificate. All students will receive a college certificate on successful completion of this course.

This course can lead you to;

  • BBC Traineeship – immediate start available
  • September 2017  start – with entry criteria into our pathways in the faculty of digital and creative.

Depending on your current GCSE results you are eligible to apply for our level 2 or 3 pathways in the following areas;
