This course will aim to give you a great introduction to digital technologies and the kind of career paths this vocational area can lead to. 

Topics and modules:

  • Introduction to websites
  • How computers work
  • Employment skills in the IT industry
  • Introduction to computer networks
  • Multimedia/ animation skills
  • Introduction to computer games.

Students will use a mixture of software packages to help nurture their understanding of the work that goes on in the field of digital technologies including MS Office 2013, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Study a core qualification in a vocational discipline and continue to develop your English and Maths skills through functional skills, GCSE resits and the option of Level 3 qualifications
