This course will enable you to develop your awareness of and understanding of the types of services and job roles that are available within the health, social care and children’s workforce to enable you to focus your career choice.  It will provide an introduction to the values, knowledge and skills that are required to enable workers to work safely and effectively in their settings. At the end of the course you will have completed your Criminal Records Service Check and have their DBS Disclosure so that they are ready to progress onto your next step without delay. The college will support you with the funding for this.
