Statement
When I was at school studying Health and Social care I would never have dreamt that I’d be where I am today. I came to the college on a recommendation and I can honestly say that I have not looked back since.
The great thing about the college is that you get to go on work placements, to put everything you are learning into practice - I went back to Breeze Hill and helped out with the children.
I also had the opportunity to take part in training such as Deliotte, which is great fun and it prepares you for the world of work.
Going to the college also prepared me for life at university: I’m studying for a degree in social work at Manchester Metropolitan University.
I’ve now got the bug for studying and I want to go onto a postgraduate course when I’ve finished my degree. My long terms plans are to become a social worker.
