Statement

Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted to work with children, and the childcare apprenticeship at The Oldham College allowed me to do just that.

I completed the apprenticeship at Mills Hill Primary School which was extremely rewarding - it gives me the best feeling when a child smiles.

At the college the tutors work closely with the students to overcome any issues and there’s a really nice atmosphere.

I’m now planning to continue my studies and to undertake a level 3 qualification whilst working at Mills Hill.
