You will be mentored by an energetic Team who have vast experience, will be given training and will have to work under pressure to ensure that the service meets the Companies high standards. This is an amazing opportunity to developed and coached within an excellent employer. Located in Oldham Town Centre it is fast-paced working environment with no two days ever the same. During busy periods, we rely on excellent teamwork and efficiency in order to keep things running smoothly. Our restaurant members need to be presentable, personable and have a passion for interacting with a variety of people. Generic Responsibilities: •Service of food dishes and drinks from our menus •Preparation bar and dining areas for service •Attending to all tables services in the dining area, when required •Provide attentive, proactive and polite customer focused service to our customers to maximise customer satisfaction •Promote and up sell the food and beverage offering to all clients •Demonstrate strong personable and customer service skills •Identify and resolve customer service problems or issues before they arise •Display a positive, friendly, welcoming and informal manner with customers. •Respond promptly to customer orders and requests. •Operate work areas in a well-organised and systematic manner •Keep all work-related areas clean and tidy •Work effectively with colleagues and other departments. •Maximising sales opportunities through up selling, cross-selling and achieving add-on sales. •Work diligently and maintain a keen eye on details, particularly when dealing with the till and processing customer orders Person Specification: Essential • Punctual • Highly presentable • Ambitious and energetic • No experience necessary just a willingness to learn with a can do attitude • Motivated and committed • Good communicator • Forward thinker who uses own initiative Entry criteria • Must have GCSE A-D in maths and English Qualification to be gained: • NVQ/Diploma Level 2 Hospitality • Functional skills level 1 in English and maths • Employment Rights and Responsibilities certificate Person Specification: Essential • Excellent Customer Service Skills • Confident to approach customers • Excellent timekeeping • Highly presentable • Self learning involved so you must be enthusiastic
