Business Administration Apprenticeship-Level 2

About the employer: We are the “One Stop Energy Solution Provider” TM is a UK leading business to business gas and electricity provider. Our customer portfolio ranges from smaller individual care homes to larger care home groups and other specialised sectors
such as education, hospitality, manufacturing, and retail.


Overview of the role (what will the learner be doing and what will the learner gain): Liaising with our suppliers and customers, by telephone and email, the role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Administrative skills are also required for the role as the successful candidate will be required to navigate our database (ACT! By Sage) and accurately maintain company records.
The role requires the ability to prioritise and work efficiently to ensure service level agreements are maintained.
The successful candidate will be conversant in Microsoft Office applications – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

Business Administration NVQ-Level 2

Vacancy description:

The successful candidate will be required to telephone potential customers to check the details we hold for them are correct. This could include contact names and numbers and their contract end date with their current energy supplier. (This will only be applicable for the New Business Team Support Apprentice)
The candidate will also be performing credit checks on potential customers and completing our internal credit checking tool to verify the credit worthiness of a company.
The setting up of records on our database which includes good attention to detail and IT skills.
Retrieving and saving recorded telephone calls on to the system.
Liaising with our supplier to obtain prices which will be used to determine the quote we can provide.
Liaising with suppliers to obtain relevant and accurate information required in the quoting process.
Contacting customers after the sale process has been completed to update information where required.
