Overview of the role (what will the learner be doing and what will the learner gain): We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a talented Legal Secretarial Apprentice to join our Corporate team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain some hands on legal administration experience alongside a supportive team of legal secretaries and fee earners up to Partner level.

Training to be provided (Qualifications to be gained):

Business Administration Level 2
Functional Skills English – Level 1
Functional Skills Maths – Level 1
Functional Skills ICT – Level 1

Vacancy description:

We will provide full training and support for this position, including allocating a dedicated supervisor and mentor to the successful candidates.

The role will develop with training and experience but we expect the successful candidate to be involved with assisting fee earners in some of the below aspects:

Audio typing
Typing and drafting correspondence
Amending documents
Diary Management
Booking meetings
Assisting with and drafting bills
Arranging and booking travel and accommodation
Opening, maintaining and closing files
Archiving files
Updating and maintaining databases
Scanning and preparing documentation

Desired qualifications 5* GCSE’s 9-4 or A to C
