Apprentice in Performing Manufacturing Operations Level 2

About the employer: We are a Team wear, Equipment, Work Wear and School Wear Supplier based in Hyde, Cheshire.

Overview of the role (what will the learner be doing and what will the learner gain):
Printing Work area to be kept clean and tidy, ensure all heat presses are dust free.Ensuring material stock is adequate.Design and Cad Drawing.Vinyl Cutting. Heat Pressing Transfer Printing.Weeding of Transfers.Liaising with other staff member re time management of orders
Embroidery
Work area clean and tidy, Wipe down embroidery machine daily and oiled daily.
Regular checking of under threads and needles.
Cutting of Vilene to keep an adequate Stock
Loading Discs into Embroidery Machines.
Collating Work Sheets and checking garments on order.
Checking Cotton Stocks
Running Embroidery Machine.

Training to be provided (Qualifications to be gained):
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Manufacturing Operations (QCF)
Level 2 Certificate in Manufacturing Practices (QCF)
Functional Skills English Level 1
Functional Skills Maths Level 1
