Apprentice in Performing Manufacturing Operations Level 2

About the employer:
Were looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our family owned business, which has over 25 years' experience in the manufacturing of bespoke boat covers, canopies, tonneau covers, cratch covers and pram hoods.

We have provided many quality bespoke boat products for customers across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Northwich, Chester and the surrounding North of England areas.

Overview of the role (what will the learner be doing and what will the learner gain):
You will be visiting a wide array of moored barges on different canal networks throughout the North West to measure their dimensions for a canope or hood. Next you will help produce the canope/hood before finally fitting the manufactured product.

Training to be provided (Qualifications to be gained):
Level 2 -Performing Manufacturing Operations

Good manual dexterity

To become a full time permanent member of staff.

Vacancy description:
Visiting customers barges
Accurately measuring customers boats
Creating designs/drawings
Ordering relevant material for the canopies
Cut material to appropriate size
Sewing windows in to the canopes
Insert press studs
Fitting finished product

Desired qualifications
G.C.S.E maths & English at 3+ (A to D).
