Oldham College is a place for high achievers. We tell our students that they will be given every encouragement and support to stand out from the crowd and make their mark in the world. We enable students to progress into employment, Apprenticeship of Higher Education. Taught by dual trained teachers – qualified teachers who are also experts in their professional or technical field, students don’t undertake a course, but instead follow a personalised study or learning programme. A typical programme consists of:

How much does a technical and professional education cost?

There are no tuition fees for 16-18 year olds and some students will be eligible for support with expenses associated with attending college. Students over 19 can fund their tuition costs with an Advanced Learner Loan and we have Discretionary Learner Support Fund to contribute towards the expenses of attending college.

Can a technical and professional education lead to university?

Yes, 370 of our students went on to university last year, either to University Campsu Oldham or a university of their choice.
