Principal's Message
The Oldham College has been providing education in Oldham for over 50 years, and continually strives to achieve the highest standards possible.
We are proud that the college received an outstanding inspection from Ofsted, who in their 2008 report awarded Grade 1’s, the highest possible award, in every major category of measurement. This places the college firmly within the top 10% of Further Education colleges in the country.
We are also proud to be a multi-award winning college for Equality of Opportunity and Celebrating Diversity. We have also recently been awarded the much coveted Beacon status which is given to the very best providers of Further Education in the country.
As an "outstanding vocational college", we are here for both young learners starting on their life’s journey, and also for all the people and local businesses. We believe we are privileged to be able to prepare Young Professionals for their "careers not courses" and we are always "open for business" to work with employers.
